User Pro Seats
User Pro seats let a Server Boost – Groq Powered guild grant managed User Pro to specific members without each person buying their own subscription or supplying an API key.
User Pro seat management is enabled on the beta dashboard for qualifying guilds. If you do not see the User Pro seats panel on Server Settings → Overview, your environment may not have the feature rolled out yet.
What members get
A seated member receives User Pro benefits:
- Managed Groq engine (bot-provided key — no BYOK required)
- Translate in any server and DMs with personal premium overriding free servers
- Priority translation queue
Seated members configure their engine under User Settings like any other User Pro subscriber.
Included vs purchased seats

The User Pro seats panel on Server Settings → Overview shows how many included seats are used and lists active assignments.
Assigning and revoking seats
- Open Dashboard → Server → Manage Settings → Overview
- Find User Pro seats (visible when the guild has Server Boost / Pro tier)
- Enter a Discord user ID and click Assign seat
- To remove access, click Revoke on an assigned seat
Only users with dashboard access to the server can manage seats. Assignments are logged in Audit Logs.
Purchasing an extra seat starts a Stripe checkout for that member's add-on subscription. Revoking a purchased seat cancels the linked subscription according to your billing settings.
Who should get a seat?
Good candidates:
- Moderators who translate across many servers
- Community leads who need premium in DMs
- Bilingual staff who help in channels outside your guild
Seats are not a replacement for Server BYOK — they grant personal premium, not server-wide engine changes.
