Support System

HephBot Translate includes a built-in support system with a knowledge base, URL shortener, and staff management tools. This helps server owners and support teams provide better help to their communities.


Knowledge Base

The knowledge base is a collection of support articles written in Markdown. Articles can include text, images, code blocks, tables, and even interactive tools.

Finding Articles

Browse articles at hbtranslate.com/support/article or use the search bar to find what you need. Articles are organized by category and tagged for easy discovery.

  • Troubleshooting – Step-by-step solutions for common issues
  • Setup – Getting started guides
  • Billing – Premium and payment questions
  • Features – Feature-specific documentation
  • Known Issues – Currently tracked problems and workarounds

URL Shortener

Create short, memorable links using hbtranslate.com/s/your-code. Perfect for sharing setup guides, support articles, or any external resources with your community.

Features

  • Custom codes – Choose your own short code or let one be generated
  • Click tracking – See how many times each link has been used
  • QR codes – Auto-generated QR code for each short link
  • Expiration dates – Optionally set links to expire

Staff Roles

The support system uses a tiered role system to manage access:

RoleAccess
Tier 1Support dashboard, view basic articles
Tier 2Everything in T1 + create and edit articles
Tier 3Everything in T2 + admin panel access, manage staff, manage all articles

Staff members are managed from the Admin Panel → Staff Management page. Only T3 and above can add, edit, or remove staff members.
